Report of the 37th session of the FAO Regional Conference for Latin America and the Caribbean

The 37th session of the FAO Regional Conference for Latin America and the Caribbean (LARC 37) was held from 28 March to 1 April 2022. Exceptionally, and without setting a precedent, the meeting was held in a hybrid format, given the global coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic and the resulting public health concerns. Some representatives participated in person in Quito, Ecuador, while others participated virtually. This decision was made after the Director-General consulted with the Government of Ecuador and the Latin America and Caribbean Regional Group.
