Description

The transition to a circular economy involves a profound change in the way we produce and consume, as well as the development of an economic model that allows us to create value in a sustainable manner. This transformation must go through a series of interconnected systems, aligning technical and biological systems with business models, design, innovation and production processes. For this reason, based on a sample of eight countries in Latin America and the Caribbean, and based on a methodology for the analysis of roadmaps in the field of the circular economy, a diagnosis is made of the state of circular economy planning in the region, in order to identify trends in the progress made in this area.
