Agrifood scenarios for Latin America and the Caribbean: A Prospective Study to the Year 2040

This book is the product of a collaboration of researchers who seek to highlight the importance of the agrifood issue in the region. It offers a detailed analysis of data and statistics related to agriculture and food, and presents four different scenarios for the region's agrifood future. These scenarios are not predictions, but conceptual tools to illustrate possible situations. The objective is to encourage debate among various stakeholders, at both the national and regional levels, and to motivate concrete actions to build a desirable future for Latin America and the Caribbean.
