Research has shown that making trade policies more responsive to gender issues improves gender equality in trade, supports poverty reduction and fosters sustainable growth. This publication builds on research presented at the World Trade Congress on Gender, held at the WTO in December 2022, which brought together trade and gender experts to present the latest findings from around the world.
