The Ministry of Livestock, Agriculture and Fisheries of Uruguay is working on the design of the National Family Agriculture Plan

The Ministry of Livestock, Agriculture and Fisheries (MGAP) presented the guidelines for the development of the National Family Agriculture Plan in Uruguay. This plan was declared of ministerial interest, through resolution No. 571/23. From the development of this, discussions will be generated regarding family farming linked to social, cultural, economic and environmental aspects, among others, he mentioned. The difficulties in the development of this production will also be collected, to culminate with concrete measures in the short, medium and long term.
