Agricultural Export Market Intelligence Report August 2023

The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) through the Transforming Market Systems (TMS) project, in alliance with the National Investment Council (CNI) and the Secretary of Agriculture and Livestock (SAG), El Zamorano University is promoting a market intelligence service to provide updated and accurate information for the Honduran agro-export sector. This report presents the report of the Exports of Fresh Fruits and Vegetables from Honduras to the United States at the end of August 2023, which reached 441,900 tons, representing a 3% increase in the total volume of exports compared to July of this year. This powerful platform is powered by agri-technology firm Agtools that provides real-time data for retailers, growers and suppliers to develop advanced demand planning and forecasting capabilities, enhancing cross-functional collaboration from planning through sales, purchasing, logistics and marketing. The system includes industry-wide information to complement commodity-specific prices, weather indices, and news, among other data elements.
