Argentina negotiates meat prices for the domestic market

Argentina, the eighth largest beef producer, has restricted beef exports for 15 days while the government reaches an agreement with the Argentine Meat Exporters Consortium. This measure is in addition to the current restriction on seven beef cuts (asado, buttocks, matambre, vacuum, skirt, shoulder and flank), which will remain in force until December 31, 2023.
