Description

This document is the third in the series of projects developed in the framework of the LAIF Initiative on Cities and Climate Change, funded by the European Union and implemented by CAF - Development Bank of Latin America and the French Development Agency - AFD. The first chapter argues that Nature-Based Solutions play an important role in mitigating and adapting to climate change-related risks in cities. The second presents the projects developed under this Initiative. The third chapter presents the main lessons learned and recommendations to advance in the implementation of these solutions to address the effects of climate change in the cities of the region.
