Description

This magazine, in its 48th edition, presents six studies prepared from a call for research carried out together with the Interdisciplinary Institute of Political Economy of Buenos Aires (IIEP) of the Faculty of Economic Sciences of the University of Buenos Aires (UBA). This set of works constitutes a relevant contribution to the trade and investment policy agenda of the region linked to knowledge-based services, a very dynamic segment at the global level and in which Latin America and the Caribbean has made significant progress, and in which it has a strong potential to exploit in the future. From the Institute for the Integration of Latin America and the Caribbean (INTAL) of the Integration and Trade Sector (INT) of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), they seek to contribute to empowering the SBCs in the region. The publication is also part of the initiatives promoted by these institutions to increase knowledge, data and evidence on these sectors of crucial relevance to the Latin American economies.
