Description

The report explores the potential of Brazil nuts and 16 other native products from the Peruvian Amazon that could have competitive advantages in international markets. Through targeted interventions and adapted public policies, the aim is to promote an inclusive and sustainable productive alternative that reduces deforestation and benefits local communities along the entire production chain. Additionally, it addresses current challenges and emphasizes the importance of coordination among different stakeholders, government levels, and neighboring countries to seize the opportunity of a resilient and profitable Amazon region in the global arena.
