CDPAC Strategy: Community Agricultural and Livestock Production Development Centers

Fecha de inicio: 08/05/2023
Fecha de fin: 31/12/2023

Description

The CDPACs seek to improve agricultural production systems, based on an integrated management model and public-private partnerships to have differentiated markets and strengthen associative concepts. The objective is for farmers to obtain a fair price for their products, guaranteeing better income. This strategy is linked to the BanEcuador program that offers credit at 1% interest and a 30-year term. This is aimed at individuals to finance production, trade and service activities, in order to contribute to the economic reactivation of Ecuador, while generating new sources of employment. In particular, the model plan was implemented with the first CDPAC in CDPAC in Cayambe, which will formalize 280 thousand liters of raw milk per day, to give it added value and benefit 77 thousand producers, but will also serve to promote the marketing of products grown in the area so that producers receive a fair price.
