Fecha de inicio: 01/01/2016
Fecha de fin: 01/01/2023

Description

The National Dairy Chain Promotion Program promotes the integration of small and medium-sized organized producer committees into the dairy value chain, aiming to enhance competitiveness for dairy product entry into the national and international markets. Consequently, it strengthens family farming, food security, and integration into value chains with a focused approach. Medium-term goals include supporting the strengthening of the program for controlling and eradicating dairy cattle diseases, involving more producers in public procurement, providing sector-appropriate credits with reduced interest rates from state funds, developing production models based on territorial characteristics, establishing nationwide quality payment criteria according to established standards and the destination of milk (processed products), and obtaining official certification of health for herds free from Brucellosis and Tuberculosis.
