She feeds the world

The She Feeds the World initiative aims to improve the food security and nutrition of poor rural households, with a strong emphasis on small-scale women producers. She Feeds the World is based on an integrated model involving interventions that incorporate the common focus on gender, governance and resilience in six areas of change, backed by evidence of success and a variety of tools and documents behind them. The highlighted areas are: Women's Empowerment; Productive Resources; Market Access; Nutrition; Social Protection; and Multiplying Impact.
