Project for the implementation of the Permanent Subsidized Agricultural Insurance System, with emphasis on small and medium-sized producers vulnerable to the effects of climate change.

Start Date: 01/01/2022
End Date: 01/01/2025

Description

Develop a subsidized agricultural insurance system to prevent the loss of production by small and medium-sized agricultural producers due to the adverse biological and natural effects of climate change. Disseminate, promote and train on the functioning of the agricultural insurance system and on the importance within risk management of acquiring Agricultural and Livestock Insurance policies as an alternative for transferring climatic and biological risk. Focus the subsidy on the acquisition of agricultural insurance policies for climate vulnerability according to the zone, priority crops, priority animal and/or forestry species and characteristics of the producers.
