Technical Cooperation for the Delivery of an Online Course in Rural Tourism with the UTech in Jamaica

The objective of IICA's technical assistance to UTech Jamaica is to provide an online module in Rural Tourism as follows: a) For students enrolled in the UTech, Jamaica MSc in Integrated Rural Development postgraduate course of study. b) As a stand alone module through UTech, Jamaica for interested persons from across the Caribbean. IICA/Utech LOU for Technical Cooperation for the Delivery of an Online Course in Rural Tourism in Jamaica. The University of Technology, Jamaica (UTech,Ja.), formerly the College of Arts, Science and Technology is located within the Greater Kingston Metropolitan Region in the parish of St. Andrew and occupies approximately 18.2 hectares. It lies to the east of the Hope Botanical Gardens within the Papine-Liguanea commercial centres. The campus is served by several bus routes and is within walking distance of the Mona Campus of the regional University of the West Indies and the University Hospital.
