Description

To strengthen the capacity of members of two communities in Grenada in waste management by identifying and separating organic materials that can be converted into compost for use by the community members by employing two different composting methods. Waste management is essential because many of them can be used as raw materials for the manufacture of new products that are eco-sustainable, in addition to carrying out a process of collection, preparation, and treatment of the remaining waste that cannot be used a second time. In this way, we seek to strengthen the capacity of two communities in Granada to use this waste in a sustainable manner, a clear example is the use of composting as nutrition for crops. This action promotes awareness of the importance of caring for the environment through the implementation of strategies such as the management of waste and organic materials.
