Description
Regional project aimed at improving techniques to quantify enteric methane (CH4) and nitrous oxide (N2O) emissions and developing mitigation strategies for dual-purpose livestock systems in the Andean Region. It included biophysical and socioeconomic characterization, emissions measurement, assessment of feeding strategies, mitigation scenarios, and technical capacity building to support public policy.
