Services Towards Capacity Building for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the Fisheries Sector in Barbados, Grenada and St. Vincent and the Grenadines

Blue economy development for the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) especially a group such as the agricultural sector, is a necessity in the foreground, due to the demand they occupy to improve their competitiveness in the market. One of these sectors is the fishing sector, which, due to its commercialization conditions, tends to have an unstable economy. For this reason, this action is intended to support the development of micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises in the fishing sector in order to provide access to financing. This supports FAO in the implementation of the project Harnessing Blue Economy Finance for SIDS Recovery and Sustainable Development.
