Description

The project seeks to promote climate-resilient agriculture to achieve equitable economic growth that results in economic prosperity for women and young people (both women and men) through the promotion of more sustainable agricultural markets in the Caribbean. The project addresses gaps and barriers in agricultural market systems faced by young people and women in the region, with its primary goals being the mitigation of the impact of climate change, the reduction of vulnerability to natural disasters, and the fostering of climate-resilient agricultural markets. The participating countries in CARICOM are Dominica, Guyana, Jamaica, Saint Lucia, and Suriname
