Approved budget according to the Initiative's 2024 Annual Technical Report (CGIAR financing plan): USD 4.43 million in 2022, USD 6.38 million in 2023 and USD 6.57 million in 2024, for a total of USD 17.38 million; the 2023 and 2024 figures include carry-over and commitments and are rounded to two decimals in millions. The budget proposed in the original formulation was USD 6.62, 8.57 and 9.92 million, respectively (USD 25.11 million), and was reduced at approval. Amounts are expressed in US dollars, with no currency conversion. Implementation period: 1 April 2022 to 31 December 2024 (the 2022 Annual Technical Report anticipated an end date of 31 December 2025). Implementation countries: Burkina Faso, Colombia, India, Kenya and Viet Nam.
