Approved budget according to the Initiative's 2024 Annual Technical Report (CGIAR financing plan): USD 9.33 million in 2022, USD 8.49 million in 2023 and USD 9.43 million in 2024, for a total of USD 27.25 million; the 2023 and 2024 figures include carry-over and commitments and are rounded to two decimals in millions. The budget proposed in the original formulation was USD 11, 13 and 16 million, respectively (USD 40 million), and was reduced at approval. Amounts are expressed in US dollars, with no currency conversion. Implementation period: 1 January 2022 to 31 December 2024. Geographic coverage: 10 focus countries (Bangladesh, Ethiopia, India, Kenya, Malawi, Mexico, Tanzania, Uganda, Viet Nam and Zambia) and 22 secondary or spillover countries.
