Description
This program was created by the mandate delegated to the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, and Food through Congressional Decree No. 5-2017 of the Republic of Guatemala, "Animal Protection and Welfare Law," with the objective of regulating the protection and welfare of animals. It is framed within the implementation of actions that contribute to ensuring the proper management and care of companion and working animals, as well as their rescue and preventive vaccination, deworming, and vitamin strengthening to improve their living conditions.
