Description

The subprogram focuses on developing the necessary capacities to be competitive in the market through the implementation of business plans, associative marketing for production marketing, market regulations and requirements, and assistance in negotiation, trade, and marketing. It comprises 2 main interventions: (1) Assistance for Organization and Productive Commercialization: This activity is created to support surplus and commercial producers who allocate part or all of their production to marketing. They need to improve their competitive capacity. To this end, training and technical assistance are provided in organization, production, and marketing. (2) Strengthening Water Management for Sustainable Production: This activity is designed to support producers and farmers with assets and inputs for the incorporation, rehabilitation, and/or maintenance of irrigation and mini-irrigation systems, as well as for water utilization in production.
