Fecha de fin: 01/01/2023

Description

This activity falls under the Food Access and Availability Program, where specific interventions are consolidated to provide food availability to the population. It aims to strengthen the technical capacities of producers in improving rural households. The strategy focuses on backyard agriculture and promoting healthy home practices at the family level. This includes implementing practices in food and nutrition education, household hygiene, food storage, and artisanal food processing, which enable them to meet basic needs and promote holistic development. Additionally, the implementation of family and community gardens is sought to promote local food production, contributing to food security and sovereignty. Technical assistance is provided to promote school gardens in public educational institutions. Furthermore, farmers in rural areas are benefited through training and technical assistance in basic grain storage, allowing them to acquire post-harvest grain storage practices through technology transfer.
