Families with healthy practices for the prevention of metaxenical and zoonotic diseases

The project is part of the Metaxenic and Zoonotic Diseases Budget Program 0017. This program addresses metaxenic diseases and zoonoses that have a high incidence and lethality in the country. It is expected to serve the population susceptible to acquiring a metaxenic disease or zoonosis. These people are residents in areas endemic to these diseases, as well as migrants moving to these areas. All ages and sexes are susceptible to disease. In the end, the program expects to reduce morbidity and mortality from metaxenic and zoonotic diseases through health interventions, according to the risk scenario The activities of this program include: 1. Promotion of healthy practices for the prevention of metaxenic and zoonotic diseases in families in risk zones. 2. Community surveillance for the prevention of metaxenical and zoonotic diseases. The project is managed and executed by MINSA, Ministry of Health; SIS, Seguro Integral de Salud; IGSS, Instituto de Gestión de Servicios de Salud.
