Rural population in subsistence economies receives technical assistance, training and portfolio of assets for the management of rural enterprises.

The project is part of the Haku Wiñay 0118 Budget Program for Access of Rural Households with Subsistence Economies to Local Markets. This program addresses the problems of households with subsistence economies with limited opportunities for access to local markets, residing in rural population centers. It is expected to serve rural households with subsistence economies that correspond to 3,423 population centers. Therefore, the project is expected to have a positive impact on rural households with subsistence economies with limited opportunities to access local markets (260,132 households). The activities of this program include: 1. Technical assistance to interest groups for the selection and implementation of profiles of rural enterprises. 2. Implementation of technical assistance and specialized training and delivery of assets for the start-up of rural enterprises. 3. Technical assistance to the implemented enterprises to improve their economic and financial management and market articulation. 4. Promotion of local commercial exchange spaces. 5. Development of competitions for the evaluation and allocation of resources. The project is managed and executed by FONCODES: Cooperation Fund for Social Development and MIDIS, Ministry of Development and Social Inclusion.
