Families that incorporated sustainable productive alternatives to illicit crops

The project is part of Budget Program 0072 of the Integral and Sustainable Alternative Development Program - PIRDAIS. This program addresses the problem of limited integral and sustainable alternative development in the areas of influence of coca cultivation, driven by the favorable attitude of the population and authorities towards coca cultivation. It is expected to reach rural families that grew, grow and could grow coca for illicit purposes, or affected by the dynamics of the illegal economy driven by the illicit drug trade, who meet the program's targeting criteria. In addition, the program expects to promote integral and sustainable alternative development in the coca growing areas of influence, driven by the change in the favorable attitude of the population and authorities towards coca cultivation. The activities of this program include: 1. Development and strengthening of community management capacities. 2. 2. Technical assistance in the productive diversification of sustainable alternative goods and services. 3. Technical assistance in access to markets for goods and services. 4. Formalization and titling of rural properties in areas of influence of coca cultivation. 5. Development and strengthening of capacities of regional and local stakeholders. The project is managed and executed by DEVIDA, National Commission for Development and Life Without Drugs.
