Description

The project is part of the 0120 Mining Environmental Liabilities Remediation Budget Program. This program addresses the problems related to the existence of mining environmental liabilities (MAP) in Peru that represent a potential risk of environmental contamination and safety. This program has a target population associated with the MAPs that are registered in the inventory, hoping to achieve the remediation of MAPs throughout Peru. The activities of this program include: 1. informed people prior to the environmental remediation process: sensitization. 2. Officials of the subnational government entities informed for the management of mining environmental liabilities. 3.Monitoring after the environmental remediation process. The project is managed and executed by the Ministry of Energy and Mines.
