Detection, Prevention, Eradication and Sanction of Illegal Mining.

The project is part of Budget Plan 0057 Conservation of biological diversity and sustainable use of natural resources in protected natural areas of the National Service of Natural Areas Protected by the State - SERNANP. This program is focused on the problems associated with the insufficient conservation of biological diversity and use of natural resources in Natural Protected Areas. Addressing all of Peru's ecosystems that should be conserved in Natural Protected Areas. Hoping to achieve an improvement in the conservation of biological diversity and sustainable use of natural resources in Natural Protected Areas.The activities included in this project are as follows: 1. Elaboration of maps of illegal mining activity. 2. Training for communities and local authorities on the legal framework, environmental damage and damage to health caused by illegal mining. 3. Logistical support operations for the interdiction of illegal mining.The project is executed by the National Service of Natural Areas Protected by the State of Peru - SERNANP.
