Natural protected areas with participatory conservation mechanisms implemented.

The project is part of Budget Plan 0057 Conservation of biological diversity and sustainable use of natural resources in protected natural areas of the National Service of Natural Areas Protected by the State - SERNANP. This program is focused on the problems associated with the insufficient conservation of biological diversity and use of natural resources in Natural Protected Areas. Addressing all of Peru's ecosystems that should be conserved in Natural Protected Areas. Hoping to achieve an improvement in the conservation of biological diversity and sustainable use of natural resources in Natural Protected Areas. The activities included in this project are as follows: 1. Planning and development instruments in natural protected areas elaborated. 2. Agents with rights for the sustainable use of natural resources. 3. Organizations strengthened in the conservation and/or use of natural resources and biological diversity.4. Strengthening of organizations involved in the management of natural resources and biodiversity conservation in protected natural areas. 5. Granting and renewal of rights for the use of renewable resources in natural protected areas. 6. Granting and renewal of rights for the use of landscape resources in natural protected areas. 7. Mechanisms and instruments for participatory management of natural resources implemented. 8. Development of participatory spaces for the conservation of natural resources. 9. Monitoring and evaluation of the implementation of commitments. The project is executed by the National Service of Natural Areas Protected by the State of Peru - SERNANP.
