Hydrobiological resources regulated for exploitation, conservation and sustainability

The project is part of Budget Plan 0095 for Strengthening Artisanal Fishing. This budget line addresses the problems associated with low productivity of artisanal fishermen. To address this problem, it is intended to serve artisanal fishermen, both embarked and non-embarked, from the maritime and continental areas, as well as artisanal shipowners. The actions of this budget plan are aimed at increasing the productivity of artisanal fishermen. The activities included in this project are as follows 1. Integrated research on biological, ecological, fishing and economic aspects of artisanal fishing activities. 2. Development and dissemination of management tools for artisanal fishery management. The project is executed by PRODUCE, Ministry of Production and IMPARPE, Instituto del Mar del Peru.
