Aquaculture Production Unit accesses services to innovate and develop aquaculture activities.

The project is part of the Ministry of Production's (PRODUCE) Budget Plan 0094 for aquaculture management and development and is aimed at addressing the identified problem of inadequate use of water and hydrobiological resources for aquaculture production. The main objective is to achieve an adequate use of these resources to promote the sustainable development of aquaculture. The activities included in this project are as follows_ 1. Financial support for aquaculture. 2. Technological development. 3. Training and technical assistance actions. 4. Expansion of the coverage and quality of the services of science, technology and technological innovation centers. 5. Implementation of the National Aquaculture Science, Technology and Technological Innovation Program. The project is executed by PRODUCE, Ministry of Production; IMPARPE, Instituto del Mar del Perú; FONDEPES, Fondo Nacional de Desarrollo Pesquero; ITP, Instituto Tecnológico de la Producción.
