Aquaculture farmers have access to aquaculture health and safety certification services

The project is part of the Ministry of Production's (PRODUCE) Aquaculture Management and Development Budget Plan 0094 and is aimed at addressing the identified problem of inadequate use of water and hydrobiological resources for aquaculture production. The main objective is to achieve an adequate use of these resources to promote the sustainable development of aquaculture. The activities included in this project are as follows Implementing standards and management instruments for monitoring and control of aquaculture health and safety. 2. Implementation of research plans in aquatic pathobiology, health and safety in aquaculture. 3. Health monitoring of aquaculture activities. 4. Implementation and strengthening of aquaculture health laboratories. The project is executed by the National Fishery Health Agency SANIPES.
