Multiannual Indicative Program (PIP) of Paraguay and the EU for 2021-2027

The EU's partnership with Paraguay is guided by the 2030 Agenda and the SDGs, as well as the Paris Agreement and the new European Consensus on Development. The two priority areas for the EU partnership with Paraguay for the period 2021-27 are: Green and Resilient Economy: contributing to sustainable development in Paraguay through actions that make the Paraguayan economy and society more resilient. EU support in this priority area will directly contribute to the implementation of clean and affordable energy, reduced inequalities, sustainable cities and communities, and responsible consumption and production. The other is focused on Fighting Inequalities; it supports the reduction of inequalities and the creation of more opportunities, focusing on the vulnerable 40% of the population. It will also directly improve the quality of education, gender equality, decent work and economic growth, and partnerships. Other actions can also support the implementation of the recommendations of the EU Election Observation Mission.
