Description

Technical cooperation project aimed at strengthening technical and regulatory policies and instruments for the sustainability and resilience of Peru's food systems in the context of the COVID-19 health emergency. It seeks to address the limited application of standards and protocols in the food supply chain, the limited capacity to prevent and reduce food loss and waste, and regulatory weaknesses in ensuring safe food. It includes the modernization of wholesale and retail food markets, training of public and private actors, and support for regulatory proposals and governance of food and nutrition security.
