Description
Mitigation project that co-finances Ecuador's REDD+ Action Plan by updating development and land-use plans and life plans with climate change criteria, providing economic incentives and technical assistance for the transition to sustainable deforestation-free production systems, certification and traceability, redesigning credit lines, strengthening forest conservation programs and water funds, and reinforcing forest control and REDD+ monitoring, reporting and verification, in the Ecuadorian Amazon and the southern dry forests.
