Implementation of the Comprehensive Program for the Reconversion of Livestock in Colombia - PIRPAG

The Comprehensive Program for the Reconversion of Livestock in Colombia (PIRPAG) seeks to promote the transition toward sustainable, competitive and inclusive livestock farming in the departments of Sucre, Arauca and Santander. The initiative includes strengthening the technical and organizational capacities of producers and associations with a gender-focused approach, providing investment financing to promote the adoption of silvopastoral systems, and strengthening the management capacities of livestock associations and community organizations.
