Strengthening of Agricultural Productive Capacities in the Amazon Region

The area where this project is to be developed includes districts in the six provinces of the Amazon Region&%2358; Bagua, Bongara, Chachapoyas, Luya, Rodriguez de Mendoza and Utcubamba, which have been selected based on their productive potential, training needs, environmental protection and agribusiness development. The beneficiaries of the project are organized and individual producers who develop productive activities in rural and urban areas of the provinces of Bagua, Bongara, Chachapoyas, Luya, Rodríguez de Mendoza and Utcubamba; they participated in the situational diagnosis, identification and prioritization of their problems and the causes that generate them, proposing alternative solutions to their problems. They have also recognized that the strengthening of their technical and management capacities will allow them to take actions and decisions in the development of their productive activities, which will allow them to achieve their social and economic development. In these meetings, the leaders of the organizations and producers in general expressed their willingness to participate actively during project implementation.
