Description

Budget program aimed at the conservation and sustainable use of natural ecosystems that provide ecosystem services. It seeks to reverse the degradation of areas with service-providing ecosystems through the conservation and restoration of hectares of ecosystems, land-use planning, technical and financial conservation mechanisms and instruments, and oversight and enforcement of compliance with environmental legislation. Its target population comprises 87.4 million hectares of natural ecosystems.
