Incentive for the production and marketing of white maize in Sinaloa, Autumn-Winter 2025-2026 crop cycle

Incentive of the Government of Mexico for the production and marketing of white maize from the Autumn-Winter 2025-2026 crop cycle in the state of Sinaloa, under the System for the Organization of White Maize Production and Marketing. The Secretariat allocates 2.8 billion Mexican pesos in direct support to more than 24,000 registered producers. The scheme includes a payment of 800 pesos per tonne of white maize and an additional agricultural financing support of 500 pesos per tonne. The initiative aims to strengthen the income of producer families and contribute to food sovereignty.
