Improvement and expansion of protection services for river banks vulnerable to flood hazard in the localities of Pillcopata and Atalaya, Kosñipata District, Paucartambo Province, Cusco

Public investment project aimed at protecting the banks of the Pilcomayo and Madre de Dios rivers against flooding and erosion in Pillcopata and Atalaya. It includes channeling walls with gabions, spur dikes and desilting, an environmental impact mitigation measure and risk management training, in order to protect productive units, housing and the population at risk.
