Fecha de fin: N/A

Description

The Iberá Project seeks to restore and protect one of the world's largest wetlands in Corrientes, Argentina. Through land acquisition, the reintroduction of native species, and the promotion of sustainable agricultural practices, the Conservation Land Trust and Tompkins Conservation have driven the ecological recovery of the area. With recent donations of over 190,000 hectares to the Argentine government, the ultimate goal is to establish a fully restored Iberá National Park of over 700,000 hectares, strengthening conservation efforts and fostering local development based on ecotourism.
