Recovery of Vegetation Cover through Forest Planting Services in the Communities of Cabana and Sondondo, Cabana District, Lucanas Province, Department of Ayacucho

Public investment project aimed at restoring the use capacity of soils with forestry potential affected by water and wind erosion in the communities of Cabana and Sondondo (Lucanas, Ayacucho, Peru). It includes seedling production in mobile field nurseries and the establishment of forest plantations of pine, eucalyptus and native species such as queñual, together with fruit tree seedlings, technology transfer through talks and study visits, and the organization and training of producers in associations for the sustainable management of the plantations.
