Description

The project aims to strengthen national capacities to diagnose, monitor, and manage Fusarium R4T and other plant health issues affecting bananas in Peru. It combines field and laboratory research, the characterization of cultivars and production systems, the development of maps and protocols, technical training, and coordination among INIA, SENASA, universities, and producer organizations. Its goal is to reduce losses, improve the quality of planting material, and increase the productivity and resilience of family farming.
