Improvement of Technology Transfer for Dairy Cattle in the Lower Coata River Basin, Districts of Huata, Coata, Capachica and Paucarcolla in the Province of Puno and District of Caracoto, Province of San Román, Department of Puno

Public investment project aimed at improving technology transfer in the dairy cattle value chain of the lower Coata River basin (Puno, Peru), with the objective of reducing the share of livestock producers without access to technical assistance. It includes infrastructure and management for milk production, with forage plots, milking parlors and confined production modules, equipment for animal feeding, genetic improvement through artificial insemination, milk quality control and processing, training and technical assistance in production, reproductive management and dairy product processing, the strengthening of producer organizations, formalization and market linkage, and environmental mitigation measures in dairy processing.
