Fecha de inicio: 08/01/2025
Fecha de fin: 22/11/2028

Description

The Sustainable Amazonian Landscapes project aims to protect forests and biodiversity, improve the livelihoods of small-scale farmers and Indigenous communities in Peru and Bolivia, and reduce carbon emissions through agroforestry, inclusive value chains, and integrated landscape management. The initiative promotes a comprehensive conservation approach, supports biodiversity, and empowers native communities to develop better living conditions. It addresses the urgent problem of deforestation and the socio-economic challenges in regions such as Huánuco and Ucayali in Peru, and Alto Beni and Palos Blancos in Bolivia. The project fosters sustainable agricultural practices, market access, and regional cooperation, contributing to climate resilience and inclusive economic development.
