Program to promote cattle farming for small producers.

Fecha de inicio: 2021
Fecha de fin: 2025

Description

The program seeks to increase production and productivity in the livestock sector, taking into account the diversity of ecoregions and improving production processes for the domestic market and beef exports. The Ministry of Rural Development and Lands (MDRyT) is the responsible entity, but the program is executed by three implementing units, depending on the component: the Decentralized Public Institution for Food Sovereignty (IPDSA) (direct transfers), the National Agricultural Health and Food Safety Service (SENASAG) (animal health), and the National Institute of Agricultural and Forestry Innovation (INIAF) (training and technology transfer). It is implemented in three major regions: the Altiplano and Valleys (animal fattening) and the tropics (animal restocking).
