PSDI Integral Development Plan 2021-2025

The PSDI is a medium-term instrument that establishes comprehensive development strategies for the country's agricultural sector and is aligned with the Economic and Social Development Plan (PDES) 2021-2025. The general objective of the PDSI is to increase the income of agricultural producers, prioritizing those with the greatest vulnerability, providing them with the knowledge and means to enter markets in a sustainable and competitive manner, within a framework of inclusion and social, cultural, and gender equity, thus improving their quality of life. This Plan is addressed through five policies: 1) Transformation and consolidation of land tenure, access, and use for production. 2) Technological development and innovation in agriculture, fisheries, and forestry. 3) Use and management of soil, water, and vegetation cover for agricultural and forestry production. 4) Agricultural, fisheries, and forestry production for food security with sovereignty. 5) Development of markets for agricultural products.
