(Es) (Ecuador) Framework for the Program for the Preparation of National Communications (NCs) and Biennial Transparency Reports (BTRs) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) in Ecuador

Ecuador will monitor and update information related to: (i) the reporting schemes for the Biennial Transparency Report (BTR) and the National Inventory Report (NIR); (ii) the common reporting tables and formats for GHG inventories, NDC progress, adaptation management, and support provided and received (financial, technology transfer, and capacity-building). This includes submission of the Fifth National Communication (5NC) and the BTR, including a National Inventory Report. Finally, a self-assessment and stocktaking exercise will be conducted in preparation for future Biennial Transparency Reports and National Communications.
