Improvement of the Dairy Cattle Production Chain in the Ramis Basin, Asillo District, Azángaro, Puno

Public investment project aimed at increasing the production and productivity of dairy cattle in the communities of the Ramis River basin, in the district of Asillo (Azángaro, Puno). It includes genetic improvement through artificial insemination stations, training of inseminators and animal health support; the establishment of cultivated pastures and forage crops (forage oats and alfalfa) with technical assistance and partial seed subsidies; the implementation of dairy product processing plants; and training and technical assistance for producer organizations in animal nutrition, business management, business plans, value addition and market linkage, including the strengthening of milk collection centers.
